Great food and the meal service was very good but we did feel the bar service was a little slow. The restaurant was quite busy - always a good sign, but this did make it a lttle noisy !!

Would Highly recommend to friends and families to visit there.

Nice setting , we both had steak 🥩 my t bone was quite grissly. The chimmichurri was yum and the baby carrots and beans to accompany, however the duck fat potato’s were not crispy which was a bit disappointing.

My husband had already been here but took me here for my 30th birthday and it was the best steak I have ever had. Everything was so quick and fresh and everyone was lovely/ thank you so much

Omg the best steak!! We had the cave man rib eye which was delicious. The people next to us had ordered a tomahawk to share which we would preorder next time we are in Christchurch. Highly recommend booking.

Googled for a great steakhouse in Christchurch and Jaba was the first hit. Easy to make a reservation and the meal was delicious! My friend loved her glass of wine. Great service. Friendly place but not pretentious.

We turned up early expecting a bar, so we had a drink elsewhere. All 3 courses were fabulous, staff and service were wonderful.

The food was lovely and my partner particularly loved his steak. Our only criticism was that it was hard to hear each other talk as the music was a little loud and the acoustics were bouncing off the walls. Apart from that very nice

Service for drinks was slow. T-bone steak was sinewy and tough . Fillet was good .

Having read previous reviews we were keen to try Jaba for ourselves - it didn’t disappoint!! Fantastic food, excellent service and a very enjoyable dining experience which we will look to repeat on our next visit to Christchurch.

Went here for our anniversary and this restaurant exceeded our expectations! The food was AMAZING. Every single thing we ordered was so delicious and it was so memorable that we’ve been craving it ever since! It is on the pricier side but it was worth the value. Would definitely go here again for special occasions.

A really quant unassuming little place, but really fantastic steak and the squid entree was one of the best I’ve eaten! I also wouldn’t go past the cheesecake for a dessert option.

Food was okay ,heavily salted meat and the wine was way overpriced a small glass was the same as the bottle price in the supermarkets.

Really loved it! Every course we chose was so delicious, from the bruschetta to the really juicy meat and cheesecake dessert. We also loved Brian, the Colombian waiter.
