Service for drinks was slow. T-bone steak was sinewy and tough . Fillet was good .

Felt we were well looked after and valued as customers.

Staff were amazing. Food was good, not great. Wish they gave us a bowl for our fingers for the ribs

Having read previous reviews we were keen to try Jaba for ourselves - it didn’t disappoint!! Fantastic food, excellent service and a very enjoyable dining experience which we will look to repeat on our next visit to Christchurch.

Went here for our anniversary and this restaurant exceeded our expectations! The food was AMAZING. Every single thing we ordered was so delicious and it was so memorable that we’ve been craving it ever since! It is on the pricier side but it was worth the value. Would definitely go here again for special occasions.

A really quant unassuming little place, but really fantastic steak and the squid entree was one of the best I’ve eaten! I also wouldn’t go past the cheesecake for a dessert option.

Food was okay ,heavily salted meat and the wine was way overpriced a small glass was the same as the bottle price in the supermarkets.

Really loved it! Every course we chose was so delicious, from the bruschetta to the really juicy meat and cheesecake dessert. We also loved Brian, the Colombian waiter.

Ordered T bone steak though was a bit tough wish I had ordered a fillet. Chicken was ok, salmon was very good, beef ribs were very good.

The food was amazing, the staff where amazing and we just love the atmosphere.

Best steak meal we have had in NZ. (Just a pity they didn't have Hot English mustard or Australia Mustard only Dujoin). Espresso Martini and Sauv.Blanc wine was well up to standard. Very pleasant waitress/wait person/waiter. Recommend !!!!

Loved the look of this restaurant from the moment we walked in. The Manager, was absolutely lovely and took the time to have a chat. Food was brilliant especially the baked marrow bones! Very well priced for the food and drinks. Highly recommend

We had great filets. Also try the broccoli with real bacon bits and a very small amount of heat. Really nice.

Perfect steak (get the grass fed fillet) for customers with usa steak expectations (high). It was exactly what we were after.

The stake and ribs were truly good. The wine was good also. However, the price (markup) for the wine was too high.
