The food was sensational & the service was outstanding, the vegetables were outstanding

Das Fleisch war hervorragend gewürzt und kam in der richtigen Garstufe. Die Brownies waren traumhaft. Es wird kein Brot serviert zum Carpaccio und es war zuwenig Oel und Balsamico darauf. Die Halloumi Vorspeise war gut.

We found the food to be fantastic. A better steak you would struggle to find. We matched a 450gr steak with a few sides and it was a perfect combo. Squeezed in a dessert just to keep the experience going and that was great too. Highly recommend this restaurant.

I ordered two Tomahawk steaks—one medium-rare and one medium. Unfortunately, the steaks were swapped. We asked the server to double-check, as they didn’t look right, and we were reassured they were correct. After eating a portion of each, we checked again and were informed that the steaks were indeed the wrong way around, the kitchen had made a mistake. They offered us a free dessert, but that only scratched the surface of the issue. Additionally, the medium steak was nearly overcooked, but we decided not to comment further. After having organised previous visits, this experience has left me considering other options. It's a big shame, as this restaurant was one of my favorites in Christchurch.

Didn’t appreciate getting my clothes stunk out by by smoke from the adjacent tables order, also didn’t appreciate a big chunk of bone/bone marrow on my plate, totally unnecessary.

Brownie is amazing! Also the steaks. Waitress’ service is nice and quick. Recommend to everyone first in Christchurch and need some good beef dinner.

Great night all round, was very happy with the food and service. Lovely place, I'd say best steak house in Christchurch. But the ribs and the beef carpaccio stole the show. A+ will save up for the next time I have a special occasion.

The food and service was great. My only Issue was with the burning of the garments on top of some of their meals. It was very smoky and for someone like my wife who has bad Asthma it made the inside dining experience very unpleasant for her at times.

We both decided to have steak. I had a ribeye & Ian had a marbled Angus ribeye. They were both really great. Fir me one of the best steaks I have ever had. We would definitely go back there again.

Great service with helpful and welcoming staff. Incredible steak and side dishes. Loved being able to have pre-dinner drinks at Tiger Baby (cool bar!) before going next door to Jaba for dinner. A great evening in a fab environment.

What a great evening. The food was just stunning. We each had a different meal and every meal was superbly cooked and presented. The black Angus beef rib was the best beef I’ve ever eaten. The service was informative, personal and yet not intrusive. Such a young team absolutely nailing it. Well done and thank you.
