When I booked the table I mentioned that we were celebrating my 87 year old mother's birthday. I was saddened that a relevant table was not assigned in the first instance. (Initially we were given one that was up some stairs and I thought some thought might have happened around what a 87 can or can't do). Eventually we were given one outside, which was very windy and my mother found it too cold, as a result we decided not to stay for coffee or desert.
Lovely evening & great service from the best server ever. Thanks for great service Ella
Fantastic service, beautiful food and plenty of choice! We’ll return!
Great waiter and birthday lunch ❤️ Large restaurant and great service
Loved our lunch with our friends. Great location, service and food. Thanks
Sunday night so rather quiet. Good service though, so we enjoyed.
I have already given a positive review to Goode Bros. No need to double up.
Food was fantastic. Staff were not very attentive e.g had to get their attention after waiting to have our order be taken and get water etc. It would have been better if they faced the diners rather than talking to each other by the kitchen. Noticed the same thing happened to family beside us.
Nice atmosphere for a Friday night. They had live music, which was awesome to listen to over dinner. Overall everyone was happy with there meals and portion sizes, and service was good too. (Pork Belly, was really good).
Amazing food, amazing service, lovely clean facility and happy looking team. Well done!
7 of us enjoyed our meals and the plrasant atmosphere
I booked this table for 6 guests we had at work and they said it was really lovely, enjoyed their food and the evening.
Amazing Pasta wish I had signed up for the cashback loyalty programme before i reserved a table on line, paid the bill and would have been happy to write a review. Any chance you can work in retrospect for this loyalty programme?? 021 229 9230 or email phillippa.stockwell@brickworks.co.nz
it was a great experience, and we will be back:}
The service wasn’t the best. My family of 12 arrived at 6pm and were left waiting a long time to order to the point we had to walk over to find someone who would serve us. Following this, our dishes all came out at different times with the last dish being served 40 minutes after the 1st was served. Not good service.
The layout and choice of table was great and the staff were attentive, but the food was very mediocre unfortunately. We felt all the dishes had a distinct lack of flavour and were a very basic quality (and only 3 mussels in a seafood pasta). We wouldn’t use it for a celebration again but perhaps a quick bite or drink after work etc.
Delicious food, great service and no wait which was great considering how busy it was.
Staff were friendly, garlic/cheese pizza bread and pecan pie were very tasty!
overall experience very good staff all seemed to want to do their best and that coupled with very enjoyable food made for a pleasant lunch.
Great atmosphere, staff were very attentive and helpful with choices
Very friendly and efficient service and very tasty food, enjoyed in lovely surroundings.
All of the meals were great except the fries were only just cooked, i.e just al dente, but not golden and crispy as you would normally expect
Food was not good, and after just getting back off holiday was definitely nowhere near Italian, either in taste or presentation.
I complained about the Goode Bros Chicken. The plate presentation was non-existent. A pile of over fried shapeless items alongside pale red sauce and a small pile of pickled red and white vegetables. Very unattractive. No green herbs or salad. I tried to cut one of the fried items. The knife couldn’t get through whatever it was. No sign of any chicken. Just a mess. I tried a few other pieces without success. What was in the fried batter or whatever. The good news is I was not charged for the dish and our table was also not charged for the dessert. Thank you. On 3 previous visits for lunch, the food was good. So I will continue my patronage.
The live entertainment was of a good standard, but too loud….hard to hear our own conversation. The fries were excellent, the chicken parmagiana was the thinnest in terms of actual chicken meat, that I’ve ever had, not enough napoli/tomato sauce, and more than enough mozzarella. Very good service and acceptable wait times.
Great food and lovely staff will be back again soon
