Our young waiter didn't have the answer to any of our questions but he went away to find out.

As we were back in Auckland it was a must for us to revisit the Oak Barrel and we weren't disappointed. Food and service were both excellent

I booked a table for 2 at 6.45pm. At 6.15 they called me to ask me to delay the booking until 7.30pm as they were full. I pushed back and negotiated a 7pm change however at 6.40 they called back to say 7.30pm was all they could offer. No options were provided to seat us at the bar temporarily, offer any apology or honour the booking. I cancelled on the spot. 0/10 would not recommend. Terrible experience
