Fabulous food and excellent service. We even got a special table and small dessert as it was my birthday. It was a wonderful local dining experience thanks to Lexi and the team.

Food was unexceptional, and felt overpriced compared to the yakitori bar we normally go to. The food, whilst presented well, was not as desirable in terms of freshness and taste. The pork skewer in particular being somewhere between cooked and warm. Sashimi was fairly plain, as were the tempura prawns...extremely unexceptional. Service was polite, but not inviting, ambience was simple and the table we were seated at was not accommodating to the food plates we ordered and there were constant re-arrangements. I am all for supporting local, but local needs to lift its game if it wants to charge good dollars.

A great place to dine - food was good, nice flavours and lovely presentation. Kids liked the rice (but have loved other ones elsewhere). Service was really friendly and attentive. A fun night out

Most of the food was great... except for some raggedy cut sashimi and the abysmal, totally tasteless, Spicy Squid Pineapple Cut Bites.

Great service and good food but the presentation wasn’t as good as it used to be. Had to ask for more sauce for my curry.

Only just moved to between Takapuna and Milford and we just love this place. Have been twice already and will definately be back. Small and busy place so definately need to book. Totally recommend.
