Table booked as requested, very friendly staff, good number of choices.

The table was set up properly. There were greasy marks all over the menus. The water glasses when placed on the table were warm. And then, there was the food...

Chose the fried chicken on mash, as recommended by waiter. It was nice enough though gravy seemed artificial. Had the creme brulee for dessert, big disappointment. The first thing I noticed was there was not much crackling on the surface of the custard which I am prepared to ignore. But also the biscottee was not toasted and the custard had a strange flavour to it, it did not taste like a proper creme brulee custard made with egg yolks and cream.
