Charlie Farley's

I booked for myself and two friends visiting from the city. The friends had not been to Charley Farley's before, but I had many times. We were in holiday mode and wanting a cheerful Waiheke experience., It could not have been better - I booked on line and were delighted to arrive to our reserved table and to really friendly staff who set the scene. It proved to be a most enjoyable dining evening in every respect. Janet Randow

Even though they were short staffed to start with they coped so well and all of the staff were so friendly even whilst stressed.

The food could only be described as average and several options were not available. Have been a long time Charlie's customer but today would make me think about recommending it to others. Our waitperson was pleasant and efficient but the food and standard of cleanliness was not good.

We had a great family meal. The kids meals were great, with the added veges and salad, and the mains we had were very generous and delicious.

Loved the food and service but it was quite hard to hear each other.

Table was ready when we arrived and food was served within 10 minutes of ordering Goddvservice and good ffod

Not very good tbh. One main tasted like a reheated dish from a previous diner. Half the items (and the reason we had chosen there), not available. Not a particularly good experience, happy when we left.

The duck dish was lovely but I wouldn’t recommend the steak on the bone. It was very small and over cooked

Delish Food - Delish Cocktails Great atmosphere - we were there to have a meal and as a bonus watch the rugby. We had the choice of the dining area with no rugby or the bar area that had the rugby showing. Very nice friendly staff.

Was great - you guys did an awesome job with such a busy time during the long weekend!

The only thing I was concerned about was that under Level 2 we should only have had one server at our table but we actually had 4 different people helping us. Apart from that we were very happy with the beautiful Brunch we had. Really enjoyed the eggs Benedict. Thanks

Great variety and healthy options on the menu including vegan and vegetarian and generous portions. Beautiful settings, relaxed atmosphere and friendly service. Not to be missed😊

They have really good seafood and burgers! The restaurant is close to the water and it’s a perfect location for a dinner with friends and family.

Really good service and a nice spot by the beach the waiter knew the menus and what to reccomend the double wagyu burgers and chips were really taste and well put together no falling apart. Thank you for the awesome dinner from the newlly Mr and Mrs Hemsworth

We were incredibly disappointed with our meals. We had the calamari for the entrée and it was very bland and the same texture, a crumbed calamari would have been much nicer. The mains were risotto and duck and I was very disappointed with the risotto, again there was no flavour at all.

Busy when we got there but still had good service. Beautiful food and ambiance, still coming back over the years .

Slow service, expensive for what you get. Fish and chips not good. Some staff lovely and smiley but one young lady looked very grumpy and not approachable. Location can’t be beaten but I wouldn’t have gone there if the competition at the other end of the block was open. Won’t go back in a hurry after this experience, which is a shame as I had been looking forward to going.

Buzzing venue - great food took a while but its peak season and staff under pressure. They deserve accolades for keeping upbeat. Big Ups to Chefs. Will Return as its one of our Favs. Thanks to Dave & Jess for shouting xoxo

Good service, friendly staff. Poke bowl was a bit bland.

Food was 100% excellent but service was very slow had to wait to order drinks, and had to get up and find waitress to order pudding as couldn’t catch waitresses eye for over 15 mins. Drinks took almost as long to arrive as the food did.

Calamari was floury soggy.. Poke bowl was a bit dominated by rice but the salad that it did have was very tasty. Cauliflower burger, duck salad and steak (rare) were three top notch meals.

Fantastic will visit again always enjoy a day trip here
