Titirangi Indian Kitchen

After many wonderful meals both at the restaurant and as take aways, the visit last week was not a happy one. The food was excellent as always, but the over 2 hours wait for even some papadums to nibble, was not. We were served after the uber drivers, and even other clients who arrived after us. There was only one person in the front of house and she was run off her feet! The lack of speed or any service worthy of this restaurant was not her fault. We had booked online and arrived one person commenting they had already waited an hour to be seated - even though there were many open tables. The waiting area was full of people and uber drivers waiting. Apparently there was a huge delay in the evening meal service preparations. We asked why they even accepted bookings if they knew there was a problem with service, we would have understood. We received barely an apology and no enticement to return. So we won't!
