Had a lovely evening dining at The Waterfront. Food and service were great
Unfortunately this night was the first for a new chef as apparently the previous chef passed away, so service was slow but staff were lovely and kept us informed and offered to shout a round of drinks even. Food was good and on a hot muggy evening it was lovely sitting outside and not shouting to be heard over other diners. Will return.
First visit to The Waterfront, great experience, lovely waitress, delicious food & perfect situation near the canal. We'll be back!
Waited 45 minutes for drinks that didn't arrive - others who came into restaurant after us served both drinks and food. When queried with staff, they had no idea where our order was. We walked out and won't be back. Sad, as have eaten there before and had good experiences.
